OMFG!!!!! Today I had an AP Comp Sci test. It was the sickest thing ever. First there was no time to finish it, and secondly, he wanted us to use 1 function to do this complex ass thing which required more like 3 separate functions to keep it somewhat readable. 90% of the class didn't even try the test cause they couldn't get it, the rest tried it, but didn't finish or did poorly. I think I may have done ok, as i did finish and check, but holy sh!t, I got so much adrenaline going I felt like I was gonna explode at the end. Damn!

I always thought some people give classes which go over the edge for NOTHING.

Exactly the goal of college with too many classes, you sit and listen to the old teacher rambling, while you try to guess and take notes.
Education should change, instruction should become more fun christ, not nearly impossible!

Oh, I love C++, I mean it's part of computer science. However, the test could have been made so that at least the last example we could u 2 functions or more, I mean I can discern wtf it does anymore to be honest, it's wayyyyyy too cluttered!

I love my computer classes this year. The teachers let us do whatever all period long. In my Cisco class I play around online all period long and then I get perfect on my test! Muhaha! In my VB class, I can play games and walk around the class too! LMAO! Best of all, I have both periods on the same day! Basically 3/5 (including the lunch period) of my day every other day is nothing but fooling around.

So you're going to get a C+ in C++ then?

Naw, I certainly hope not:) I remembered a few of the questions vividly, and programmed em, and they work, but the last one is plaguing me; not that the algorithm I wrote isn't good, rather I was rushing so I may have made a few syntax errors. If I do poorly, I will tell the teacher that we didn't have enough time- the substitute (teacher was out) took 10 minutes just to take attendance, during which we could not look at tests. With the type of tests, u need the entire period; u sit down and start immediatly and finish writing when the period is over. So there's 10 minutes class starting late. Then the sub collected tests 5 minutes early, so all in all a 45 minute test was given about 25 minutes. Not cool! Think that's reason there?

Hey, maybe get the teacher to pass out the tests for another 15 mins....

...And all the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put my computer back together again...

The issue there would be students have already discussed results.....not bad idea though:) Hopefully he'll just put a mad curve on it...hehe, maybe like 10 points.

Sounds like my Chemistry tests... they're always to long and half the class gets an unsifficient mark... now will that be the teachers error or ours?

The first year was like that... now we got another teacher that gives way to little time for way to much homework.

I'll bet it's a simple recursive (oxymoron) function that takes like 3 lines. Of course I've lost more than one bet in my gambling history.

Complicated proofs are proofs of confusion.

We had today a french written exam, an argumentative composition. 500 words approx.
The 2 afternoon classes periods were frozen so we had 3 hours for it, and basically the afternoon is a french test instead of school classes. Sadly, for 500 words, you gotta think of 3-4 arguments, 3 minimum, AND then apply the dreaded MB-13, a correction method paper, with steps, like underline verb, circle subject, relay them, ID their genre and number, same thing for nouns, and more. It takes A LOT of time, and in french it is harder, since there is a lot to conjugation and grammar than english ever. Most of the class by the end didn't begin the Real written version, or the clean one. Thank goodness our teacher is fair and gave us 40 minutes for tommorow to finish it. But damn, 3 hours not enough, why did they ever think it'd be! If he had limited it to this, it'd be so unfair and everyone would fail!
