I am trying to upgrade RAM from 256MB to 512MB. I got two new memory
sticks of 256MB from Simpletech. When I put both the 256MB sticks in I
get an error after I boot the computer
" The ACPI BIOS in this system is not fully compliant...
If you are unable to obtain an updated BIOS or the latest BIOS
supplied by your vendor is not ACPI compliant, you can turn off ACPI
mode during text setup..."
My computer is HP8765C, Pangea-U motherboard, max RAM - 512MB
THere is no BIOS update available for my system. There is nothing wrong
with the new memory that I bought, since they both work perfectly fine
when installed individually. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
