Crysis, and Crysis Warhead are crashing every darn time I play the game for more than 2 minutes or less.
The culprit I believe is a memory leak of some sort, Task Manager reports Crysis 64 using 5 gigs of RAM out of the 12 gigs of tri channel ddr3 ram that I have.
Usually the game like to crash once it reaches 3.5 gigs of ram, but just last time it crashed i brought up task manager and it showed 5.1 gigs for crysis, while win 7 ultimate was using another 1.8 gigs.
2 superclocked GTX 580s, 12 gigs of ddr3 ram, and i7-950, sounds like a software issue.
I know others are having issues with it crashing due to large amounts of ram usage, but I have had no problems with my old gigabyte board and ddr2 ram.
Ive tried the steam version and the retail version of the game, I also tried playing crysis without the patches, with the first patch, 1.2, then 1.2.1 and each time it crashes.
Any ideas?
