Psp connection

Hello,It got this for christmas and im using my cord BUT IT WONT WORK

did you go to option under settings for usb connection?
also what OS are you using?

I connect my PSP to my computer all the time with no problem.

After connecting the USB cord it won't do anyhting at first, but you need to go to USB connection under options as king smp mentions, and then it will detect it.

If this is already what you are doing, please let me know and also let me know what OS you are using and I can try and help further.
