I'm thinking of getting a case for my LG VX3200
that has a magnetic clasp, but I'm wondering if
the magnet might have any adverse effects on the
phone. Anyone know or have experience?

Thanks.

A magnet shouldn't have any effect on the phone whatsoever.. The only thing
that is affected by magnetism is magnetic media (floppy disks, hard drives,
etc).

And things such as electronics (e.g., pacemakers) and CRTs
and ordinary matter (e.g., the human body -- think MRIs).
