Okay, So I have an 850 Tbird, clocked to 140x7=980... I installed the 4in1 4.28a drivers.... What problems am I supposed to be having with this motherboard or chipset? I guess Im saying a lot of knowledgeable people on here say VIA suck, and I want to know if there are any problems with my computer Im missing htat I might need to download fixes for.. yes, stupid question, but if theres not an answer, then Im happy with VIA... FOR NOW

Here's the summary of the market right now

Intel has a bad CPU but a nice platform support ( intel's chipset )

AMD has a nice CPU but bad platform support ( VIA )

so that is what is wrong with via...

VIA is unstable and isn't performing as fast as an intel chipset.

These are facts..

But the thing is wether you buy intel or AMD you won't get the product for the bucks

Your intel is way too expensive for the performance..

As for AMD you get a good cpu but a bad platform which will crash more often than not.
