Games crashing only after a few mins???

Hi,

Thanks for helping out...

The issue that I have is when I set up a game, it will run fine for about 5mins or so and then crash with a interesting graphical 'haze' all over the screen. Restarting cures this.

I've kept an eye on my temps - Q6600 @ 55 deg, GTX280 @ 70 deg - haven't had any problem prior to ab few weeks ago.
I can't see anything in Event Viewer to cause such an issue.
Doesn't seem limited to any specific games as some I could play fine previously are now bung.

Rig as follows:

Q6600 @ 2.4
Asus P5E-SLI
Xfx GTX 280
8GB Corsair XMS2
Primary HDD - Western Digital 320GB

Have you tried updating the following.

Bios

then Windows

then NVidia Graphics card?

IN THAT ORDER

Try this first and see what happens. The Temps you have are well within normal so you can rule out over heating.

What power supply do you have?

see if you can get an app that allows you to measure the vrm temps...
GPU-Z -> Sensors tab -> VDDC Temps it may well be your voltage regulator causing gfx card instability...
