Trouble with KT7A!!!!!!

I need serious help, Just got a amd 1.2 cpu and a ABIT KT7A
motherboard. When I turn my power on, my moniter sits in standby mode, but I can here the computer go to post. I have a asus 6800 geforce 256 on the board now. Pulled it out and put in my old tnt 2 and it still does the same thing, tested my monitor on a 2nd system I have, but it works just fine. Was wondering if my AGP slot is bad? If
anyone has an answer please let me know,,,

Make sure your internal speaker is hooked up, then see if it's beeping at all. Could be many things, among them improper seating of RAM and/or Video card (take out all other expansion cards except for video). Also be sure your cooling fan/heat sink is working (not that that would prevent your board from posting, but you don't want to fry your 1.2)
