Will this cable work for the original xbox?

I want to hook up my xbox original to my computer monitor. I need a xbox vga cable but can only find them for xbox 360. Will this xbox 360 vga cable work for the original old xbox?

That cable wont fit and they're quite rare to get hold of, but here is a diagram of how to build one, if you have an USA/NTSC Xbox then you shouldn't need to patch the firmware (Just choose component cable in the video setup menu):

or you could try a component to vga cable coupled to a xbox1 component cable, but your monitor must support sync on green capabilities. The DIY cable has a Video Sync Separator Chip (LM1881) in the build which doesn't require a SoG capable monitor.
