My Abit BE6-II v2 does'nt like PC133.

Recently put together a system using Abit's BE6-II v2 mobo with a PIII 500/100 mhz processor. I installed 2 sticks of 128 meg PC133 sdram,so when I attemped to load my O/S, Windows ME it would not load. I had to go to PC100 ram for it to work I thought sdram was backward compatible. Any thoughts?

I think you got some junk RAM. Try Crucial, it's worth the price!
