I often see MSE recommended alot on here, I have a few computers here that run MSE but not om my own personal computers. Is it any good? how good is its proactive defense?

To me it would seem that its more likely for a virus to target and disable MSE.

For the record I use Nod32

More about : mse good

It's very good. It's one of my top recommendations.

I use it on a couple of my personal PCs, and it's far and away better protection than most every other AV I've used.

All AVs get targeted by viruses. It's not specific to MSE.

I know they all get targeted espically norton, but i was somewhat expecting that MSE would be a larger target as its a microsoft product..

To a certain extent that might be true. But as malware evolves, so do the good AVs.
