Calling this thing a mini LAN is not a good choice for a title. Nor is Tom-Com JR. So post your thoughts for the name of this event.

Why not TomCON?
Because we are not staff of THG. We are trying to unite the THG community and TomCON is best to be reserved for events held by THG staff. What we are trying to create is something bigger than ourselves, bigger than Buffalo, NY, bigger than, New York State, Bigger than THG community.

Tom-Con will be Tom-Con. What Todd is saying is that this LAN is being put on by Fragnation. This is just to prove that Tom-Con is worth Tom and Omid sponsoring. We will still have to get coroporate guns to sign big checks to pay for Tom-Con but that is not what this thread is about.

We need a name for this December event. With the success of this LAN then we can get T&O to focus on a THG full fledged event. So please don't cross the two. We need step one plus step two, the poll, to equal step three; a THG sponsored Tom-Com.


Todd and I need help with promoting the first and second steps so the third can happen.

So what name will draw the gamers of the world together in Buffalo NY?

That is your task if you so choose to accept it. (Where have I heard that before?)

Anyway, What shall we call it?

Plenty of nice names, you just need a smart and attractive one. Preferably one with a small side note on the bottom: Now Winding-free.
