Operation flashpoint 2

hello,
i installed operation flashpoint 2 and when i try to run the game on my pc then it says "d3d creation error.your pc is not compliant with minimum specifications or you've locked your pc during game bootstrap sequence."
does anybody knows how i can fix this problem?thanks.

It will help if you list your computer specs. Off hand it sounds like you're using a laptop/computer with an inadequate graphics cards.

yes, i use a acer emachines em 350 with an atom 1,6 ghz ,1gb ram,and a intel graphics media accelerator 3150.my screen resolution on this netbook is max 1024x600.maybe this system info will help.and if it does how can i fix the d3d error?

Well, the specs for the game are:


OS: Windows XP (SP2 or later)
Processor: 2.4GHz Dual Core Processor
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia 7600GT 256mb or ATI X1800XL 256mb
DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c
Hard Drive: 8 GB
Sound: DirectX compatible sound output



Your CPU is too slow and the graphics chipset is good for some low end gaming. Even if the video worked, you probably be watching a slide show. Also, your 1 gig of ram is shared with the video card, possibly not leaving enough memory for the game.

Other than a new laptop, I don't think you will be able to get this to work.

question: my computer gets the same error. is it because of my graphics card? here's the computer's stats:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor
3500+
2.21 GHz, 1.50 GB or RAM

You didn't state your video card, but no matter, your CPU is rated below the minimum requirements.

Also, next time start your own thread.
