My PC has been blue screening on start up if I ever boot/reboot with my Thrustmaster/Guillemot racing wheel (non ffb) or my Thrustmaster afterburner connected.
I can reboot with my Guillemot FFB Joystick connected or my USB modem connected.
Guillemot's support has been helping but I think they are out of ideas - as I am just getting the same FAQ from them.
This is my last email to them. Just wondering if you guys have any ideas. I'll put my system specs at the bottom.
Towards the bottom of this it specifies that both the wheel and afterburner
are only compatible with the UHCI USB controller - not OHCI.
In this page, it mentions that there are OHCI drivers for (amongst others)
Ali controller (which is what the A7A266 motherboard uses). But only UHCI
drivers for Intel and VIA controllers.
I don't know much about USB, but could this actually be the problem? Does
this mean these products will not work on my computer? Can I get other
drivers? Do I need to buy a UHCI controller for my PC?
I am out of my depth here, I would really appreciate your advice.
Thanks and Regards
