Hi

1) What's a slocket?

2) what's the difference between and which chips use socket 370, slot 1, slot A, socket A?

it spells slotket
its a 370 pin socket mounted on a small PCB that fits into the slot 1 connector. it lets you use socket370 PGA/FCPGA chips on older slot1 motherboard, generally used for upgrading older cpus on older motherboards.

socket370 and slot1 are motherboard interfaces for intel cpus, while slot A and socket A (462 pin) are for AMD cpus.

there is no compatibility betwen Intel and AMD cpus that fit into these slots/sockets.
