A7V bios 1007 vs. 1005c

Ever since I upgraded my A7V bios from 1005c to 1007 I have the impression that shutting down my PC takes much longer, both in WinME and Win2000. Did anyone else notice this?

I never could get 1007 to work. I always had long boot-up delays. I also don't think it handles IRQ sharing very well. I was with 1006 but it seemed a bit buggy as well.
Now I am back to 1004 (the bios that came with my board). It is the least problematic bios I have found.
