Hi. Just got my 710 a few days ago, and this is one awesome phone. I'm
having a problem however.

Was using it the other night, and it told me the battery was getting low and
to charge it. Kept messing around and let it die on its own before I decided
to charge it.

Tried to power it back on, just to see if it'd have any juice, and it kinda
just hung there -- the screen was white, but there was a faintly looking
'grayish/brown' bar across the bottom of the screen.. I'd say about 1/4 from
the bottom of the screen.. Since this was the first time I'd turned the
phone off or on since I'd gotten it, I assumed it may be the welcome
screen.. I sat and waited a few minutes and nothing.. ended up having to
remove the battery to turn it off..

Plugged it in, let it charge, waited an hour and it turned on fine..

Fast forward to today.. I was on a call, started walking upstairs to another
room, looked at the handset, and once again the screen was white, with this
grayish/brown color bar along the bottom 1/4 of the screen - the caller was
no longer there - not sure if the call had dropped prior to going to this
screen or what have you, but powered it off and back on, and it was fine.

Is this a known issue, or something that could just be happening to my
handset, that's gonna warrant me having to go swap it out? The biggest
problem is that I just sent off the MIR yesterday, so IF the phone needs to
be replaced is Verizon gonna give me a bunch of garbage about it?

Thanks
