No fan rpm in Iwill KK266 bios?

I have an Iwill KK266 MB, and a Volcano II HSF. When I look at the "PC Health & Status" section of the bios, I see the temp, but the fan RPM reads 0 for the CPU fan.

Now I know this isn't true of course, I can see the fan cranking along just fine. I've double checked that I've plugged it into the correct fan header (FWIW: aux. reads zero also with no fan and when I've plugged the Colcano into it). The plug only goes one way, so I haven't mucked that up. Any ideas?

Also, is there anyway on this MB to have the bios monitor the temp & fan speed?
Thanks

BTW: I'm going to cross-post this to the HSF section.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
In practice, there is.

>You need a fan with 3 not 2 wires. 2 wires for the power
>and 1 to count the RPM

Well, I finally got back to this issue.
The Volcano II does have a 3 wire connection.
Other ideas?

Maybe the connection is dammaged somewhere. Either the mobo or the fan. duno m8

It ain't falling in the water that kills you; it's staying in there.
