Anyone knows where can i find a free flash program for it with the necessary patch? I only found one from UNICORE (official BIOS AWARD upgrade patch) but the price they gave me is quite high. tnx!

YOu actually have to know the manufacturer and model of the board. Give me your bios string and I will look it up for you (the bios string is located at the bottom of the screen during POST).
Sorry Crashman if I just replied. Well, here is the display I see whenever the I start-up the comp.
AWARD Modular BIOS v.4.51PG
Released 07/02/1996S
06/21/96 - i430VX - 2A59Ht5BC-00
I think you now know that the bottom part is the Bios String Number. I hope you could help me for this update because I'm installing a 10.2GB HD and the BIOS limit is only 8.2GB. I'm having problems already with the recognition.
Hope you could upload me the complete prog. at framillano@yahoo.com
Here's what I could find:
"PCCHIPS Manufacturing Limited (Fugutech) M520 or M525 or Elpina - Amptron PM7900 orMG Microgram (model:??) or PM-8815A VX-PCI Board or ALTON Aries + or Elpina Topsearch TS-M-8VOC or ASEAGATE VXor Amptron PM-8800 or Concord COA-520 or Pine PT-7502 or EL-J19 or Eurone EM-5100V or Amptron PM8900
You don't know which one to choose ? Then take this advice: Go to all the companies websites and compare specs, pictures, manuals with your board. It is possible that some of the above models are the SAME board but I can't garantuee you that a BIOS from another brand will work on your board."
You can also look for one of those model numbers somehwere on the board.
If there is no BIOS flash that will permit the use of larger hard drives, set it to a smaller size in BIOS (manual setting) and then use disk partitioning software available for free from ALL common disk manufacturers.
