It looks like the Pro is better and more upgradable. I want to spend around $350 for a CPU & mobo combo. Which would u choose with this limit? Can I afford a Pro w/ 1.2 GHz Athlon?

Personaly I would go with the k7t266 pro. For what you want to spend check pricewatch.com or ibuyer.net

Since the K7-Master is practically impossible to get, you should go with the K7T266. You could probably get a K7T266 and 1.2Ghz Athlon for about $350.

Besides, K7 Master-S alone would have cost $350 or more, due to the onboard SCSI.
