I was smart and got an Intel VC820 with my new comp last summer (ahahahaha) and would like to know if it's compatible with something other than RDRAM...DDR-SDRAM, SDRAM, whatever. Please help!
I can't remember, but I think there were adapters that let you use SDRAM. But after the i820 recall, were all these taken off the market?
I think they were, but not 100% sure.

No. You have to live along with RDRAM. Other solutions (Riser) are history now. The prices for RDRAM are going down anyway (too slow) and there's a possibility to upgrade with a new PC800. The memory is good, but P!!! processors aren't capable to take advantage from it. http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/vc820/sysmem.htm
