P.S. There is an interesting alternative if you choose to go with a RAID 0 configuration. Instead of a single hard drive with X GB, you can get two identical hard drives with X/2 GB. You get the same storage, and twice as high data transfer rate as per single drive. The price to pay is that should even one drive fail out of the two, you lose all data. Also, you'd need a mobo with a RAID controller. But many modern mobos have one, anyway.
