Hi,

I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is wrong. I bought this PC from Harvey Norman and I was very excited. I thought WOW would be awesome on this 12 gig gaming ram, and it has 2 Nvidia graphics cards.
But it is running as if I have only 1 or 2 mb ram.

I have included this information in the hopes it helps you know what I have and what the problem might be. Any help would be very appreciated :)

OK, we also need your CPU details, Motherboard details, Memory details, Hard Drive details and your monitor details.

Also some system temps when idle and under load to make sure your system is not throttling back, can you actually give us a link to your system online anywhere, so we can actually see what you have bought ?

Thanks for answering.

How do I show these specs to you. I am ok with PCs but not brilliant :)

Type Dxdiag into the run box and all the information will come up under system information.
Its the search box that comes up when you click the start bar, not 100% sure if its in the same place for Windows 7 as I have Vista.

Ok, I googled what I could.
I downloaded speed temp program.

Without WoW opened and PC only been on for 10 minutes by this time. Temps read at

GPU 30c
GPU 27c
System 15c
CPU15c
AUX 41c
HD0 22c
Core0 19c
Core1 20

After WOW had been on and I watched the framerate start at 60 and drop to 0 within 2 minutes. By this time I could not move a step.

GPU 34c
GPU 28c
System 21c
CPU 21c
AUX 41c
HD0 23c
Core0 27c
Core1 23c

CPU0 865 RPM

In my PC I am running the V8 Cooler so in theory this should be very adequate.

I will do the system specs shortly.

I ran Belaric Advisor. I love that program.
I believe this should be the specs of my PC.

Does it do this in other games or is it just WOW?

Don't laugh. But I ran Runescape to test it. Yeah I know, a big gaming PC and I go on RS. But it ran it perfectly. I have tested offline games and yeah it runs it sweet as.
This thing cost me 4 grand by the time I got the monitor too so I am a bit upset that there must be one simple thing impeding on WOW. I should in theory run it fine and above fine.
The case I think is extreme. It has Extreme written on the front when I open the door. The face is similiar to that of alienware style. Blue lights and a clear plastic side. This was meant to be my ulitmate gaming machine.
Sorry I cannot find a picture. I looked on the Harvey Norman site but because they built this, I don;t think they have a standard pic of it.
