Online gaming prob

Hello, Why cant I play online on many Pc games for eg Assassins Creed Brotherhood ( Game ) cannot play it online but only on offline even though I have an Internet Connection??

you have to launch the game via the game launcher and login to your ubi account.
if your not logged in you cant play multiplayer.
