I can't figure out few things about Xbox. I have a TV that has RCA (composite video), and RF (worse quality against RCA). Xbox has many of thise HDTV packs and other stuff like that. Which of those packs do I need? my TV is not HDTV, doesn't have S-Video, but I hear that I can get an High Definition pack (that for HDTVs) and it will work with RCA. I couldn't get decent info at Xbox forum. Can anybody explain me which pack do I need for the best picure quality?
I also have VCR connected to RCA, is there something I can do to have both Xbox and VCR connected to RCA, cuz changing cables is a hassle!
Any help will be appriciated! Thank, You.
you can probably have the x-box run through your VCR as Line 1 or something to avoid cable changing. Alternatively you'll have to get a switch (very cheap) that will let you swap inputs to the TV.

Also, in regard to something better quality than RCA. If your TV has something else, use it. Otherwise, if you use an S-video to RCA adapter, or something similar, you won't really be getting better quality. Remember that NTSC is 640x480, 29.97 FPS. Not exactly incredible, in relation to computers.

actaully (I think) NTSC is 525 lines and PAL is 575 lines the NTSC producing an rough equivalent of 29.97 fps and PAL giving 25. 640x480 is not a video resolution natively, unless generated by computer.
