Dos game

Hello,
i replaced a GA MB with this GA ma78lm-s2h board running a AMD 64x2 4600/ GT8500 graphics w/512 / 4 GB memory on XP.Bios is up to date.I have a old dos game that use to play under my old MB and now well only flash on my screen when i try to play and i have done a download of this game several times from GOG...All my other dos games (18) play. This game is Empire Earth and my EE 2 plays fine. Does anyone have any ideas how it might be fixed or where i could get a fix for this game.

Are you trying to launch it by double-clicking on the executable, and then getting the DOS box flashing up momentarily?

If so, try firing up the Command window and navigating to the directory, then launching the game executable. It likely won't launch, but it won't kill the window instantly, and whatever is stopping it launching should be reported in the Command window. We can go from there...

Erm... Empire Earth isn't a DOS game. Not sure what the problem is though. =\

GOG games already use dos box and only this one is only one that doesn't wotk

GOG comes with dos box and EE is only one of eight games that doesn't play. Thats why i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas, GOG response is redownload game which i've done several times
