Biostar has a website with bios upgrades etc and manuals you can download . I used to have an old LX biostar mobo and recall a jumper near the bios clock\chip you can pull, wait a few reboot and it resets the bios.. Did you back up your old bios on the floppy when you flashed it ? you might be able to reflash it back to the old version and then try the new one again

I did back up my BIOS but the PC does not even POST so i can't load the old one back. the only way i see of getting the PC working again is re setting the BIOS, getting a new BIOS chip, or getting a new MoBo! please help, i can't see any jumpers to re-set it!

check your friendly manual for the jumpers, or..try pulling out the battery for a few minutes but really with a system that old and a new state of the art mobo and cpu for 300 bux or less I'do the total upgrade if you afford it

Your BIOS, is it AMI (American Megatrends)? If so, put ONLY the bios file you want on an otherwise blank floppy, insert the floppy, hold the control and home keys down, and start your computer. Without posting, you will here one beep when it initiallizes, 2 beeps when it's programing, and three beeps when it's done. If you do this with your old bios, it should come back to normall.
