Dragon age 2 graphics problem

hi guys....
here is my config:
core i5 760 @ 2.8ghz
gts 250 1gb
2gb ram
win7 ultimate 32 bit

the prob is that dragon age 2 runs laggy in dx 11 mode...
i know that the card doesnt support dx 11 but there is no dx 10 option...
on the other hand dx 9 runs perfectly.....but only medium settings is available in dx 9
but i saw that my config meets the recommended req for the game....

so wats the problem???? with my comp or with the game?????

what gfx do you have? also there is a new patch out that sorts a lot of the gfx glitches. try that b4 you start hammering the config files.

The recommended system specifications don't dictate whether or not you can run the game with DX11 - It means you can run it without lag or artifacting.

Your current graphics card will not support High or Very High, because it uses features from DX11, which your graphics card does not support. Running the game in DX11 mode on a card that doesn't support it will have very, very laggy results.

Upgrade the graphics card to one that supports DX11, and it will remove the lag.

i have updated my drivers and this stopped the lag somewhat..... but now with the new drivers gta 4 starts to stutter a lot.... old drivers were good with gta 4....

gta 4 was poorly optimized for pc anyways.

And yea.. DA2 only came out with DX9 and DX11 so if you have a DX10 card you'll have to use the DX9 option unfortunately.
