I upgraded to the "Overclockers" BIOS v1.0B16, no problems upgrading it, but when I boot my machine where it usually says "Updating ESCD", "Updating DMI" etc (after harware info and before Windows boot) it says "Unknown Flash Type"

Now, it has not affected my system in any way, as far as I can tell, but I keep wondering why it says that.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you solve it?

I have the same board and bios with the same message, I think that this is normal and has not caused any problems for me.

It will not cause problems. There is a BIOS patch for it but I forgot where, and is only needed if you can't stand seeing the message or are paranoid.
