I was all set to buck up and buy the A7M266 with 256mb of DDr2100 and An Athlon C 1.33, but I am seeing posts the performance gains are in the 5 to 10% range only over 133 boards. I am beginning to wonder if the minimal performance pickup is worth the additional expense especially with newer generation boards on the horizon fully utilizing DDR technology.

1)I will not OC the board
2)Video Editing , primary use. Infrequent Gaming use.
3) very minor tweaking of BIOS settings

Given my intended use any recommendations of Processor , MobO and memory combinations would be greatly appreciated.
