Archived from groups: comp.sys.hp.hardware (More info?)

Does anyone use and software other than what came with the scanner for
slides?

I have a lot of old slides (the reason I got the scanner) and a lot of time
for learning,

I have read about Vuescan but it appears not to work with the 4070, but will
with my Photosmart 2610.

Or, is it better to scan directly to Photoshop CS2 or Elements 2.0?
