I want to be able to receive faxes with my Verizon LGVX4400 connected
to my laptop. I haev the USB cable and drivers from FutureDial. I can
use the phone to send and connect to the internet but when I send
faxes to it it tries to answer but then fails. I can't find a log
where the error messages are.

I've seen numerous posting on using the phone for internet connections
and to send faxes but non about receiving.

Any help will be appreciated.

I gave up trying to fax with the VX4400. Got an account with send2fax.com
that sends and receives through email. This has worked great for about a
year now for my limited faxing needs. In fact I dumped my dedicated fax
number for my home office also.
