CUSL2-C and NO ATX power at ALL

All new by the way...

I have the ASUS CUSL2-C Motherboard.. ATX case and a ATX power supply I had to put into the case..

I have no power at all other than the green LED light on the motherboard...

Assuming the board was grounded, I remove the board from the case.
Hooked the Intel cpu fan to the board, (no hard drives or anything hooked up, just the motherboard) and fired it up again, Nothing...
Just this motherboard LED light..

The power supply fan does not spin... nothing...

This IS the second power supply, and this one was benched and does work...

Now, I have the case switch hooked up of course, to initiate the power supply...
even flipped it around... nothing...
I use an extra power switch too... still nothing...

is the power switch supposed to have electrical leads from the power supply..?
in either case, it was the switch alone with two wires coming out and hooking up to the board...

Is the board dead..? I am leaning on the "no way" side on this, with the green motherboard LED lit up and ASUS's rep for solid boards...

This system I have been attempting to build for a week and a half now... with nothing but error after error... starting with the ordering and shipping faults left and right...

Is this system just an omen or what... I can build 14 successfully and ship per day...
Almost two weeks now... the customer is wondering what the heck is going on...

Sory to Say but it sounds like that motherboard is dead, just one thing does not matter the maker you can still get a defective product from time to time, though less often with ones like Asus.
