I downloaded the Crysis natural mod, installed it, and not only does the game look mind-blowingly eyegasmic, but I think the framerates increased very slightly.

Beforehand, playing Crysis on very high/1920x1080 gave me 20-50 fps. Now it's at 35-60 fps with the natural mod installed. Did the natural mod fix the poor coding and bad optimizations of the CryEngine 2, resulting in higher framerates?

The objective of this mod is to transform the ambient atmospheric lighting to make Crysis much more realistic. Basically make Crysis look better for NO framerate cost.

So it makes the game look significantly better, at no loss of framerate?

The person who made this program should be given a medal by the CEO of EA!
