Charging problems on the Motorola T720

anyone else have this problem ?
i have to bend the charging cord at the phone to get it to charge.
must be the phone connector.
i took the phone apart but can get in the connector.

its not the charge cord btw.
also guy at Verizon store already tried cleaning the contacts;
actually made it a little worse

ive had the phone 1 or 2 years so its just happening now.

i guess the T720 owners will just have to wait
