I have two OTC Wireless Antennas - 1 bridge, 1 AP, that I bought in July.

After spending some time getting power to the roofs (PoE 80Ft limit) I've
had sporadic connection across it.

Heck, I've even had a hard time connecting to the individual antennas
DIRECTLY. As long as I'm not in the web interface they respond to pings
fine. The minute i get in the web iface, they break connection and then the
signal slowly drops off. As long as I reboot them every 30 minutes they are
fine, but this tends to piss off the clients that are on it.

I've upgraded the firmware, had them BOTH replaced with latest models and
STILL can't get them to cooperate.

I am about to replace them with a couple of Motorolla Canopy Omni's but
they're only rated at 6Meg and the OTCs are 54, so...

Has anybody else run into problems with the OTC Wireless ACVW-115-G
antennas ?

What was your solution ?

Any input appreciated. OTC Wireless's and the Distributor's answer is to
keep replacing them every other week and this is getting old.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Sounds like it might be something other than the equipment.

Bad cable connections
Cable or connectors are wrong impedance.
Connectors not sealed from the elements.
Improper POE voltage or voltage is low for some reason
