As the subject says, I am having problems connecting to my FTP site from my office.

The FTP server is set up on a Windows 2000 Small Business Server using Serv-u FTP. I have the proper ports forwarded on my router.

When I try to connect using IE, I get the login/password box, which accepts my information, but then I get an error "An error occured opening that folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access that folder. Details: The operation timed out".

The computer I am using to try and connect is running XP Pro SP1.

The other weird problem is that I can connect to it from other computers, both in the office and other locations. Is there something in the setup of XP Pro?

Found the problem...seems under Tools->Internet Options->Advanced, the "Use Passive Mode FTP (for firewall and ADSL compatability)" needs to be turned OFF. So it should read something like "Use Passive Mode FTP (for firewall and ADSL INcompatibility)"

F@&%#&^% Microsoft.
