    think about what are your intended uses to be with your computer.
    gaming, email and surfing, video editing, live-streaming, etc. what.?
    then tell us what your current specs are and/or what your building.
    get it.?
    there are single, dual, triple, quad and hexa cores that all get different numbers
    (scores) even if the same rated speeds.
    start with that and then we can go on to the RAM and video, etc..
    Windows 7 aero desktop I have seen run well with a score low as 3.0
