Dell poweredge 850 network drivers

i have a dell poweredge 850 rack server that had linux on it when i got it. i formated and put windows xp on it. i was able to get all the drivers for it from dell except the network driver. can someone tell me if i can get drivers for windows, or do i need to go back to linux? id rather stay with windows if all posible. dell offers alot of drivers and i have downloaded all that apply to windows but none of them work. please help me out on this. i have run out of resorces on this matter. thanks everyone

Seeing as Dell does not support Windows XP on that platform (and there are no XP drivers available) you will have to install one of the supported OS's if you want the NIC to work.

the guy i got this from said it had xp on it before. i think im just going to try the linux and see what its all about. this will give me a chance to learn something else. that will be a new beast for me. lol. thanks for your help.

Just get http://www.hwinfo.com/ and find out what type of network adapter is installed. There should be at least one broadcom interface for which you can get the win xp drivers from there site.
