Hello all,

I have been planning on building an Athlon system for myself (at least until I have read the last few post) and have some mobo questions.

I am considering the following mobo's and wonder if any of you see one that stands out either positively or negatively. Any thoughts you might have are greatly appreciated.

The list is narrowed down to the:

FIC AD11
Giga-Byte GA-7DX
ASUS A7A266 (at least until I read the "Recall" post.)
ASUS A7V133
AOpen AX37 Plus
Abit KT7
ASUS A7V
IWILL KK266

I know that there are several boards here, but in my usual fashion I have to be thorough. This PC will be used for many things not the least of which is DB development for my work, games, and homework.

TIA, for any comments/thoughts.

First decide if you want SDRAM or DDR memory system.
Asus A7V133 (133PC) is excellent from what I heard from some pros out there - get the best Mushkin memory you can afford.

For DDR, thats a tough one, Gigabyte is good and there is alot of taik about the MSI K7 Master, which is going through a revision and is currently not available.
