Hi all,
I currently have my Motorola V710 set up with my Pocket PC to act as a
modem so that I can access Verizon's mobile web on my POcket PC. I've
used the access number as #777 with qnc as both the username and
password. This works perfectly on my Pocket PC.

I am trying to do the exact same with my laptop. I have the phone and
laptop paired and have tried to configure the paired phone's
(Motorola) dial up networking on the laptop with what I think are the
same settings, but when the phone dials, the L:aptop eventually says
that eitehr my password or username are not valid. Has anyone been
able to get this working?

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Steve B.

Try using yourphonenumber@vzw3g.com (e.g. 1234567890@vzw3g.com) as the
username and vzw as the password. Works for me with same setup - v710 and
Inspiron 300m.
