Does anyone know if Pentium 4 power supplies will work with standard atx motherboards. Also, if they do, are they amd approved. I want to be able to switch back and forth between amd and intel platforms, so i'm looking for a power supply that can do it all. Do they exist?

1) Depends on the power supply.
2) Not necessarily
3) Yes, Check out Enermax EG365P-VE, EG365P-VE(FC), EG465P-VE, and EG465P-VE(FC)

NOTE:(FC)=With Fan Controls and Thermal Sensor Options.

All of the above units are interchangable between the P4 and any AMD CPU based system. They include the AUX (Server Motherboards) connector, the 12V-P4 Connector and have the highest quality AMD thermal option we've seen.

They also have too many other features including super long (800mm) leads for hiding the cables or supporting even the largest tower. The ATX power is wrapped for better airflow and neatness. Finally, with 8+2 drive power wires, you'll be hard pressed to use them all.

You can check them out at:

and
