Broadband access sending email

What are you talking about??? I have always sent and recieved email
over my 1xrtt and evdo. I use eudora mail client and a free pop3 mail
server service. vzw wireless is my ONLY internet connection and I
have never had any problem doing anything on it.

Well I had Cox .net as my email account and I could receive email but I
could not sent email when I changed to Verizon DSL I could send email with
my PC5220 just fine, something with the Cox .net would not let me send.
What email provider to you use, Verizon Wireless does not provide any email
service. I asked Verizon Wireless and they said they did not provide email
support.

My cable used to do that too (Adelphia not cox) and my dialup earthlink. For
both, there is an option in most software that says something like "mail
server requires logon". I checked that, added my name and password and it
works like a champ. (don't have the cox server handy, but the earthlink one
was something like smtpauth.earthlink.net)

I use softhome.net They have both free pop3 accounts and premium
paid services. I've been using them for a couple of years and find
them even more reliable than any regular ISP mail service I ever had.
