My laptop has a native resolution of 1024X600. Just now Just recently when I start a game in a smaller resolution than my native resolution the screen doesn't zoom in on it to make it full screen. Example when I play a game in 640X480 it looks my screen zooms out and it looks like a black border around my game. How can I fix this!?

Resolution is measured in pixels, of which there are an absolute number on your screen. You can't zoom in on low resolution because you can't change the size of the pixels on your screen. Your computer is creating a 640x480 window within its own.

Have you tried changing the refresh rate for your monitor ? What is your native refresh rate ? I had a similar problem in COD 4, and I changed it by changing the refrersh rate from may native 60 Hz to 75 Hz ( in-game )

open control panel go to the igp pannel and turn on full screen scaling. or turn off border.
