I was just wondering if the witcher 2 could run smoothly on my pc.

I have 8 gigs of ram running on an AMD II X4 965 @ 3.40ghz

and will be using an HD 6870.

I was using an overclocked gtx 460 and the game ran decent with high settings.

the weird issue I am having is when I enter buildings, the fps drops in the single digits.

but when running around in the open areas, the game runs fast and smooth.

I was wondering if it this is a graphics card issue or something else.

can anyone help this noob?

thanks

it should run smoothly but the game does have some issues with some configs.
try lowering the higher end settings and see what happens.

Its not the problem with your GPU, its the problem with the game. Do what HEXiT told yo to.

Turning off the ubersampling and SSAO did wonders seriously.

I can play it now and it still looks mind blowing thanks.
