Win 7 and power supply

Can Windows 7 run on AT power supply?

I understand that the difference between AT and ATX power supply besides connectors is that ATX can shut down through the operating system while AT needs a switch to power off after shutting down the os. So, does win7 support AT or it needs to run with atx power supply?

Yes it works just fine with a AT power supply... i would worry about the motherboard that you are using more.
