I recently installed Windows 7 on my brothers laptop and he plays games like warcraft, chicken invaders, angry birds (he's only 8...I think) and he also plays mafia 2 and gta. Anyway, ever since I installed windows 7 on it all the games are not full screen. When I say not full screen I don't mean it's windowed but there are black lines on either side. In other words, the game is not stretched out to cover the whole screen. And it's with every game. I've looked in the settings of the games but there is nothing, it is all set to native res etc.
It's a Dell Studio 1555
Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0GHz
Windows 7 Home Premium
ATI 4500 (512mb I think, not sure)
I'm pretty sure it's an issue with Windows 7 because I've read about it before online but I can't seem to find a solution.
Anyone know what's up and how to fix it?

Changing the refresh rates can help. I have a 1600X900 60 Hz native monitor. I had a similar problem while playing COD 4. Changing the refresh rates to 75Hz helped and it removed the black borders from the sides.
