It's been a while since I've been online reading the forums. I have
been waiting for the VX8000, but then read on phonescoop about the
audio 9900.
Currently I have the 9500 and was considering upgrading to the 9900.
According to most of the posts on phonescoop the 9900 is a clear
upgrade to the 9500. Of course when you read a phone's own forum
you'll hear nothing but good thoughts.
What does is your thoughts on the 9900, should I wait until the
vx-8000 comes out? I had a TM-510 and was not very happy.
1.. Is the 9900 made from Toshiba with the same quality as the 9500?
2. Does the Data kit from the 9500 support the 9900.
2a. IF the answer is NO, does Verizon have one for the 9900. I
remember having to wait a few months before the data kit on the 9500
was released.
3. Can I assign more then one speed dial to a name? This was a
feature I had on an old Kyrcera (Spelling).
Now I have for example voice dial assigned to a person's cell phone
with speed dial buttons assigned to that person's home phone.
Example:
Can I assign #2 - HOME of Person A
#3 - Cell of Person A.
4. Can I use the old the old Get_Around_Get_It_Now to transfer GETNOW
apps from the 9500 to the 9900? Actually I should ask has anyone tried
with success?
5, I noticed and I think all phones do this, but when you synce the
address book going computer to phone. The voice dial's don't seem to
work correctly any more. Not a big issue, but is this an event on the
9900?
6. I am assuming that I should always go with Extended Battery, but
do the problems with the 9500 battery extend to the 9900?
7. Can I actually hit the call button to redial or do I have to use a
menu like the 9500 for all redials? I somewhat like this feature of
a menu anyways.
8., Did I forget to ask anything good?
9. Should I wait a little longer to see if the vx-8000 comes out?
10. Overall Comments from everyone is always good.
