How do you contact steam when you have a problem

I cannot log into steam, it will not take my password.

Go to their website. Go to the bottom and click on help -- support. From there I think you might have to set up a separate support ticket account. It should walk you through it.

Have you tried the "Forgot my password" link they usually supply on most sites?

Perhaps it has something to do with the steam guard they activated recently. have you checked your email for any messages from them?
