HP LaserjetIII - Please Help

Hi there...

i recently disconnected my computer to move it to another room and when
i reconnected my laserjet iii it wouldn't print properly anymore,
everything prints on one line at the top of the page, this also happens
with the test page....also when printing a small amount of text (large
amounts just print on top of each other) all the text is some garbage
text and characters....does anyone know what this problem is or how to
fix it, any help with this would be greatly appreciated
